“It has been amazing so far training with E & E. It is good, serious training, but still fun. The girls have been amazing to welcome me and so have the coaches.
In Denmark, I played on the U17 national team and for an elite soccer club, so I practiced approximately 4 times a week, and then we had games on the weekends. My whole life was soccer.
It definitely is different playing soccer here than it is in Denmark. The weather doesn´t limit us in Denmark since we do not get as much snow, so we can play all year round without having to move facilities. But also, overall getting to play soccer in a different way is a lot of fun and I think it will give me something the other goalkeepers in Denmark do not have and I can’t wait to continue learning.
This year has been amazing so far even though Covid-19 has limited a lot of things. It has been so nice to get this opportunity to create new friendships and learn about a new culture. It is just the cherry on top that I get to play some good soccer.”

During pre-season, Coach Dan had created several specific and challenging at-home programs and in-person training sessions to fit and surpass the demands of my coach at the University of Waterloo.
Coach Dan has a very outgoing nature and made it more comfortable for me to transition into his program. He continued to work with me through specialized position-based drills that would display performance indicators. His extensive understanding of player ability, provided me with great feedback on where I needed to improve.
